Seized car auctions anyone?

Has anyone attended a seized car auction like FBI, DEA, IRS or any car auction? What was your experience? Did you buy a car? I was looked up some info http://www.seized-cars.org and I wanted to know if anyone has tried it and what their experience was first???

I know car dealers are offering cars at a discount now so I figured auctions might be deeply discounted. thanks!
I’m not concerned about paying to get the information – I more want to know if anyone has attended and if they found some good car deals.

How do public car auctions work?

I’m looking to buy a used car and have been told good deals can be found at auctions. I’m just worried about buying a lemon that looks good on the outside and a POS later. Any experiences would be helpful. Any fees, deposits etc?

Where is the location for car auction in or around Tacoma?
I want to know if police or government has any auctions where they sell seized cars?
If police is not directly involved in auction, how do they get rid of vehicles they have seized? do they give it to towing company? and those towing company has auctions ? or police is having those auctions at a particular location?

I need to buy a newer, reliable car preferably a convertible in the next few weeks and i don’t know where these auctions are held. I don’t want any of these online sites I want to be able to physically start the car and see it before the auction. Also if you could tell me an estimate of how much to bring that would help.

This truck sports PW, PM, PDL, P/Heated seats, Beige Leather Interior, Factory Moonroof, and Harmon Kardon CD Audio with active Sirius Radio. It is in excellent condition, save for some very minor damage from time of theft. There is a small dent and scratch on the driver side roof pilar, the L 1/4 panel has a 1-2″ dent, the rear bumper has multiple scratches, and the right front fender has a 1-2″ dent. All minor. Overall, a very nice Benz Diesel SUV – 281893
