Theres this car that a girl bought from an auto auction. She hasnt registered it so I’m pretty sure I will have to pay for the Brake/Lamp inspection and the CHP inspection. The car has no plates. I want to drive it to the mechanic so they can do the mandatory inspection even though vehicle history reports show no collisions of any sort. Would this be legal?
No, you need to either get a permit to operate the vehicle, or you must have it towed to the inspection.
