could be…might be a police seizure attributable to a DUI or a drug case…in these cases, it could be a perfectly nice car just taken away from the prior owner due to their bad behaviour
could also be a vehicle that is being retired from the city/county/state fleet due to an upgrade
go down to the city auction or county auction and take a look…

Oh yea but make sure you bring someone with you that knows cars …also after purchasing one …go to the DMV and change everything…License plates…the vehicle may be on some sheet somewhere as a tag for police to harrass you in!

yes its good, usuallybefore you bid you are able to look at the car, you want to look at the oil see how it looks, the blacker it is tells you that it was well maintained. take off oil cap look for moister, take off radiator cap look for oil, usually brown foam, sign of head gasket or manifold leaks, check tranny fluid, looking for redish pink, brown not usually good, smell fluid if it smells burnt transmission will probally need work. look at tires etc. any thing that will give you info as to haow car was treated.
