Is buy cars from websites such as seizecars.com or car auction.com a scam? Also I’ve been looking on ebay and there seems to be a lot of hidden charges.

Where is the location for car auction in or around Tacoma?
I want to know if police or government has any auctions where they sell seized cars?
If police is not directly involved in auction, how do they get rid of vehicles they have seized? do they give it to towing company? and those towing company has auctions ? or police is having those auctions at a particular location?

Can anyone help me find seized car auctions down in the LA area? I’ve been looking into this topic anyway, and I think I found some places, but I’d like to get some recommendations. Most seized car auctions are just too far from where I live at the moment, but you all may be able to help me find some closer. So what do you think?

Was it worth it? Should I look for cars there?

I went to a few.
Cars that have been impounded by the police are usually in pretty rough condition.
Police auctions can be good for bicycles and other stuff like that though.
You might want to look at insurance auctions and the dealership auctions. You have to be careful about Insurance auctions. Where I live they often auction cars with a rider on the registration (serial) number that the car can not be repaired and put back on the road.

Here in town there will be an auction of cars seized in drug deals and I was just wondering what you guys would pay for the 90 honda civic. Here’s the only description from the site:

1990 Honda Civic VIN# 1HGCB7269LA080237 203,000 miles

I have not seen the car or know what the condition is, but if it’s in "good" about how much would you bid on it? $300?

Anybody from PA know where there is a seized car auction.

Auctions are held by various local and state agengies. They are usually announced in a particular newspaper on a particular day of the month. Try to find out which newspaper in your area.
